Acqua di Parma. Love it!,

This review is from: Acqua Di Parma Colonia 1.7 oz Eau de Cologne Spray (Misc.)
I got this cologne as a present for my husband since he loves it and I do too. Buying perfumes or cologne when you are married should be something that is done as a couple since you BOTH are going to smell it all day long. That said, I highly recommend it. Being a cologne it is not strong as many perfumes, but it lasts for a while with a nice smell. It is "citrusy" but not like having a lime stuck under your nose and I associate it with Summer, happy moments and it reminds him of the time he lived in Italy. Also, it was VERY hard to find since it's made in Italy and apparently few people carry it in the US. I hope this helps! Gloria

Something was not right.,
This review is from: Acqua Di Parma Colonia After Shave Balm 2.5 oz. (Misc.)
I bought this Acqua Di Parma Colonia aftershave balm (2.5 oz) from Archipelago Botanicals because my stock, bought from Nordstrom, was running out. On a per ounce basis, this was a great deal, and I bought several bottles. That turned out to be a mistake. One morning, I finally ran out of the Acqua Di Parma bought at Nordstrom. I had already put aftershave on half of my face, but I hadn't finished the job. So, I took out a bottle bought from Archipelago Botanicals. Immediately something seemed wrong. The Archipelago Botanicals bottle had a different label from the Nordstrom bottle. I opened the bottle, and the Acqua Di Parma bought from Archipelago Botanicals smelled different from the Acqua Di Parma bought at Nordstrom. There is no reason that the same aftershave should smell completely different. I don't know if the "Acqua Di Parma" bought from Archipelago Botanicals was fake or if it was just very old. But it was not the same as the much more expensive (but new and genuine) Acqua Di Parma bought at Nordstrom. I cannot recommend buying Acqua Di Parma from Archipelago Botanicals. Follow-up: The vendor agreed to accept a return for a refund even though the normal return period had lapsed. Thank you.

Very yummy citrus-based scent. It's very invigorating. And when you start to sweat it actually reactivates and you smell even better. I love both the cologne and deodorant. Of course you should always smell it on your own skin before buying any quantity. For me, this is a keeper.
