5.0 out of 5 stars Great Smooth Jazz
This is one of the best smooth jazz cds that I own. You put it in the player and let it go on song after song. Do yourself a favor and DEFINITELY buy this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars While a slight departure from their last disc....
...they are definately still smooth!! The only drawback to this "most excellent" smooth-jazz workout are the two vocal selections -- one of which is quite PAINFUL (the Mahogony theme), both of which are really unecessary, but, that is the MO of HeadsUp Records these days...throw in a radio friendly(?) tune or two and hope that the audience bites. But, I...

This is one of those CDs that you put into the player, and you walk away. Every song is truly great jazz music. You will NOT be sorry if you purchase this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Pieces Of A Dream album ever, April 5, 2001

I have ALL of Pieces Of A Dream's music and this wonderful jazz band gets better and better. Pieces Of A Dream's music has a professional quality to it that I have not heard in a long time. This jazz band is equal to none. This band is at the very top of my list along with the late great Grover Washington Jr. (who produced Pieces' first 3 albums). To see Pieces Of A Dream perform on stage is a wonderful treat. They put on the best show ever and when you see Pieces Of A Dream one time you will want to see them again and again. I know I do--you get hooked on Pieces' music and can't stop seeing them live. Not only that but the band members have wonderful personalities and have a maturity about them that is well beyond their years. Anyone who does not have Pieces Of A Dream's music and has not seen them perform live are missing quite a lot in the music world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Their Best, April 4, 2001
By A Customer

I can't get this disc out of my player, and Mr. Ruffin hit the mark on this disc with the exception of the vocal covers. I think Do You Know Where Your Going To ? Is the bomb and Maysa can do no wrong. This is their best album.

But, I digress....

Overall, the music is pure, unadulterated POD, designed to get you and your loved one "reaquainted with the night" -- hopefully it will keep you from thinking too much about the vocals.

Anyway, I can't quite rank this one up there with their best, but, the overall mood and groove makes this disc worthy of your attention (and $).

The band is still a force 25 years later!! Grover would be proud!!
