Finalmente riuniti insieme i migliori video dei gruppi di casa Sub Pop. Spesso si tratta di produzioni a basso budget, realizzati da giovani filmaker. Alcuni di questi sono semplicemente geniali, altri molto ironici e densi di citazioni cinematografiche. Comunque sempre in sintonia con la musica inipendente dei gruppi che oggi costituiscono la grande famiglia della storica etichetta di Seattle. Dai The Shins a Iron & Wine, dai Mudhoney ai The Postal Service, dai Low alle Sleater-Kinney, su Acquired Taste è presente il meglio del meglio del panorama Indie-Rock-Alternative di questi ultimi anni.

In a time when only the most popular of popular music gets played on MTV (at 4 am, mind you), it is refreshing to see artfully done music videos for some of the most creative artists producing work today. Videos like Iron and Wine's "Naked as we Came" are undeniably beautiful while "We will Become Silhouettes" by The Postal Service is sure to get its share of laughs. A great compilation all in all. I cannot, however, get past the disturbance that is the Ugly Cassanova video. That idea I had of throwing a party with this DVD playing in the background...yeah...shot. Thanks, Sub Pop, for the obligatory gross-out video.
