For seasoned pilot David Terrell, nothing seemed wore foolish than flying into a rainbow to wish for a wife. But the down-to-earth widower would do anything for his little girl, Jamie, and she would settle for nothing less than a fairy tale princess as a mother. So to humor his six-year-old, David flew into the next rainbow he saw--and emerged in 1886 Wyoming.
Victoria Chancellor grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, but married a Texan and moved west in 1971. She now lives in a suburb of Dallas, Texas with her husband and a menagerie of animals, and spends weekends on Lake Holbrook in Mineola, Texas. While working as a financial analyst at EDS, she sold her first book, a historical romance, on proposal to Harper-Collins. She then sold a contemporary romance, quit her "day job," and began writing paranormal romances. As of 2011 she has 22 published romances. National awards include the HOLT Medallion and the Golden Quill for Best Paranormal Romance, and she is also a two-time Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Finalist. Her books have appeared on the Ingrams Top 50 list and the Waldenbooks bestseller list.
Her current "Brody's Crossing" series for Harlequin American Romance consists of six (as of 2011) contemporary romances set in a fictional west Texas town. Before the Brody's Crossing books, she wrote series romance set in the fictional Texas Hill Country town of Ranger Springs. Her native-Texan in-laws influenced her writing career by telling wonderful stories of their years in small towns.
