AN INCREDIBLE LITTLE BOOK FOR ARTISTS
This book is wonderful for artists. I'm new at color mixing and the way the book is laid out makes it easy to find just the color I have in mind. I think this is the best color mixing book I've purchased to date (4) and I recommend it to everyone. No extraneous fluff....just color and more color and even more color.

Liquitex Should Be In The Title
I was very disappointed to discover that this directory is based on Liquitex brand paint. Because of the book's title, I expected to receive a mixing directory based on single, pure acrylic polymer emulsion pigments.

This is a nice handbook to have around if you use Liquitex acrylics and don't mind buying a lot of different tubes of paint. Unfortunately, it provides formuals using many of the more obscure Liquitex colors, which are not found (at least by the same name)in other paint brands. I would prefer a guide that stayed more with the basic colors that are the same from one brand to the next.

Recently switched from oils to acrylics and find the book invaluable. Comb binding makes it easy to use as well.
