This is Quiller at his best. Shows setting up for acrylic as watercolor painting and goes through an entire landscape painting explaining all the way. Good visuals. His techniques are fascinating to watch.

Stephen Quiller is extremely skilled in handling water media, and his videos are really helpful and fascinating to watch. The way he builds up the painting and creates his colorful contrasts is fascinating to watch and made very understandable. I have another watercolor video of his that is just as good. Watching him mix colors and paint is as good as any experience I've ever had with an art teacher. I'll probably never have a style anything like his, but I've still learned things from watching him that I never knew were possible. I've watched both videos 6 or 7 times and I still really enjoy them. I have four of his books also, and I've never seen anyone so clearly describe how to mix colors, or the impact and importance of the semi-neutrals. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge. His paintings are so dynamic and original that he makes me feel good about just being an acrylic painter. Caution: there is a LOT of information in his videos and you will need to watch them more than once.
