They dry up the "nasal drippage" & sneezing, & I can breath a bit better. Makes it possible to go on about my day; of course I still have that "spacey" cold head feeling, the only way to get over that is for the cold to end in my experience.
There are people who hate these, apparently, because they are not the "old formula" Actifed. I've only used the "new formula" Actifed tho, so I can't compare. I used to order generic CVS labeled Actifed from [...], much cheaper, but for some reason they've been "Sold out" for months on that (Sold out online, they still have it at CVS stores; way cheaper than name brand Actifed). No generic Actifed at Walmart online. I looked at Costco, they don't have Actifed. Finally Amazon had the best price on this 3-pack of "name brand" Actifed. BTW, I also take echinacea, & vit. C in the Winter. IMO they do help, to ward off a cold, but once you get the cold, not so much. When all else fails, you can always try a shot or two of Bushmills Irish Whisky, (for medicinal purposes only, of course, ha). For summer/spring/fall pollen allergies, I've tried about every OTC med. sold over the last 20 years. I recently got some generic Zyrtec, which seems promising. But the real "miracle" drug for pollen allergies is Nasonex, (if you can afford it, or have insurance).

I have used this product for 40 yrs. to control sinus and allergy problems. The medication was reformulated awhile back do to the misuse by the meth users. It is not as effective as it once was but it is still the only thing that seems to work for me. Now I am told the company is no longer going to make this brand. In my effort to find this product, I ordered it from Amazon. I am very grateful that I will have a supply on hand while I search for another medication to replace the Actifed.

Actifed works perfectly to ward off my daytime allergies. Taken at bedtime, I wake up allergy free. No longer available in local stores, Amazon comes to the rescue with a great price for a great product!
