5.0 out of 5 stars The CD for the working actor or director., February 29, 2008
By
David Alan Stern has produced an excellent CD for learning accents the right way. With lots of exercises and plenty of examples this is the CD for the working actor or director.

1.0 out of 5 stars leave this one to the native speakers, April 4, 2009
By
I've used David Alan Stern's Texas and New York CDs, and those were good, but I tried this one and didn't like it at all. He sounds a bit like a chimney sweep and not anything like the Cockney you hear in movies like "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels". Would prefer to hear this dialect done by a native speaker.
