This review is from: Acting Out: The Workbook: A Guide To The Development And Presentation Of Issue-Oriented, Audience- interactive, improvisational theatre (Paperback)
Acting Out is a great companion to Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed. This book provides scenarios for forum theatre that can be achieved at different levels of ability. There is a detailed introduction that explains the uses and aim of Acting Out for different settings. Information and activities in this book could be useful to teachers, theatre facilitators, councillors and therapists. The scenarios in this book are particularly focused on teenage issues. Acting Out provides a great guide for any interested reader.
