Terry Chayefsky is a living, breathing personification of the varied careers encompassed in her book, having recently appeared in Woody Allen's Husbands and Wives. Previously she has made film appearances in Presumed Innocent, Bonfire of the Vanities, Prince of Tides, and Billy Bathgate to name a few. Her television credits include One Life to Live, As the World Turns, Law and Order, Kojak, among others. Ms. Chayefsky has also appeared in many television commercials and print advertisements. In her first career she had worked as a speech therapist. She is now in her 60's and plans on working forever!

enthusiasm for her subject is evident in her writing. This
