Well written for its time (1989). Software now obviously is better. If you have Amiga 1000/2000 and Deluxepaint II, GraphiCraftAegis Images/Aegis Animator, Digi-paint, and Deluxe Video Construction Set. Hardware:Digit-View mentioned. This book is for you. Font type retards reading flow of eye. I hate the font(just like the one this one is in.) Paper fair. Binding fair. HOWEVER, Mr Oakes is very organized, easy to follow and paragraph transition is smooth (just the font does not easily flow). Mr Oakes if you're still around writting books. I'd like to see some more current books written by you. Perhaps on LightWave 3D v 5+ You'd be fanastic. Choose a better physical book binding, paper and type of font, please. Thanks Mr. Oakes
