My 5-year old son received this on his birthday and we were pleasantly surprised how easily the parachute works. The strings do not tangle and the parachute does not require alot of "folding." Cool toy!

As a mother of two boys, I am always concerned with the cost and durability of their toys. I was truly impressed with Action Man. It really does parachute!! We (the entire family) played with it for hours the first day before my son asked when we were going to let him have his new toy. I will be back to buy more of the series for both of my sons(and the rest of the family :).

i recieved this toy and it is fun. the parachute works well and as with other action man toys it is very durable and nothing ripped or broke. i guess it was kinda educational because it showed you how a parachute worked. i had two problems with it. 1-the little strap things were cheesey i would have liked a parachute bag and it took forever to fold it up and put it in there 2-he dropped too fast. either he needed to be lighter or the parachute needed to be bigger.

Yeah, ofcourse "Action Man" looks like "GI Joe", it's obviously no accident, since he IS the undesputed British/European "GI Joe"! And hey, they're BOTH made by Hasbro! In MANY ways, since the '70's "Action Man" SURPASSED "GI Joe" in quality and range of uniforms, equipment, vehicles etc! In fact, I'm seeing "Action Man" equipment and vehicles (the "Action Man" 4x4) now filtering down to the "GI Joe" line in there "2010" range! "Action Man" is a European LEGEND, a treasure! Finally the US toy market has discovered him! Enjoy!

My 3 and 5 year old boys love this toy. My daughter even likes to play with it with her Barbie's. It is very durable and, surprisingly, the parachute doesn't get too tangled up. It is difficult to throw Action Man high enough for the parachute to work well but it is a very fun toy, otherwise.

We're a family of six, toys don't often last long. Action Man Skydiver is a favorite with my boys. He's durable and easy to use with ages six and up. The younger ones need help throwing him high enough for the parachute to open and catch air. We especially love taking turns throwing him off balconies, cliffs, stairways (etc.) with someone catching at the bottom. This makes a great gift for any boy four and older.

My brother received this toy just recently. He was more than thrilled! The product is well made and the parachute is very durable. For the price, he is really a quality toy with accessories that kept the kids busy for hours. In fact I am considering buying one of these for my girls to add to their barbie collection instead of Ken!

It parachutes well and it is easy for a child of any age to handle it (including the dads ;-).

However, I must issue a warning! Check your toy for defects! This toy only lasted one day! Why? The joint in one of the legs had a defect, in that it was molded solid. It was not loose like the other one, so when the doll landed after parachuting, it could not take the impact and so broke clean off.

Now we have a one legged action man and a very upset 9 year old on our hands. So when you get yours, make sure that all the joints are as they should be - before you send him on his maiden flight!

I ordered this for my son and was pleased with the quality and construction of the the figure. The parachute and parachute harness work well and seems to be made to last a while. The parachute lines are pretty much tangle-proof and the accessories he has for other military action figures work well with this one. Overall, a good toy that a kid can really play with and enjoy.

This 1-foot-tall articulated Action Man Sky Diver comes equipped with an orange parachute that's ready to be packed and deployed repeatedly for playtime adventures. With his nylon coveralls, oxygen mask, holstered weapon, removable sport boots, parachute and harness, and fuzzy indoor/outdoor carpet crewcut. Action Man (bearing more than a passing resemblance to G.I. Joe) is definitely living up to his name.

THIS TOY WAS GREAT FOR THE FIRST 5 FLIGHTS BUT THEN FELL APART, HAD A LEG BREAK OFF THEN AN ARM IN LESS THAN AN HOUR, IF IT WAS MORE DURABLE WOULD BE GREAT FUN.
