I've used this DSL modem for a few years, but not as a wireless connection. Last week I bought my first laptop for wireless use around the house. I didn't know what to expect in the way of difficulties with setup and linking to my laptop. Turns out there were no problems at all - I just turned on my laptop, firgured out where the "connect to" button was in startup, and now I have internet anywhere in my home, even in the rooms farthest away from the modem. My laptop's internet access is as quick and stable as I'll ever need.

I've had this router almost six years. It came with my DSL equipment. It works great. I tried cable internet before twice and had constant problems with connections and speed. I gave up and got DSL and have had minimal issues over the years and none with the router. I upgraded the firmware on this router even though I wasn't having problems just wanted to maximize function. I have two desktops, two laptops, a Wii, a PSP and a DSI all wirelessly connected through this router up and downstairs and they all work really great (not all at the same time).

I have had this modem for about 5 years and it is very durable. I have put 100's of terabytes through this modem and it is still going strong. The wireless is great also, because you dont need a seperate router. It even has WPA-PSK encryption, and a firewall. Would purchase from actiontec again.

Great router, easy to use interface. Plug and play. I have had mine for 5 years and it has worked flawlessly.

Bought this for my mother over a year ago and it has been working flawlessly ever since. Fairly inexpensive at the time I purchased and has all the standard features of any DSL gateway. I'd highly recommend this device.

I got this product to replace and old DSL modem / wireless router. I needed to add a range extender and the old modem did not support this. This new one was pretty easy to install, and within 15 minutes I got my range extender to work also. Now I have WIFI goodness and Internet access all through the house.

4 stars not five, since the documentation could be a little easier in determining that I needed to get AT&T customer support to give my AT&T account password. It wasn't THAT bad (and I hate dealing with network configuration), but it would have been nice to have slightly more obvious.

I failed to notice that this router is not mac compatible. I was unable to get it to connect with my Macbook or Ipod. But I ran it through my Linksys router and it is running great!

This modem was previously used and that caused me a lot of problems because I haven't set up internet before. Once I called tech support and got everything figured out, it works fine.

I originally purchased this particular modem because I had one in the past and it had worked well. This modem was no different. My only complaint is that the newer Qwest firmware that they load onto the modem limits some of your options and is very poorly organized. However, there are other firmware versions that work better that you can load on yourself.
