It definitely works and was easy to set up but my major problem was that the voice coming out was very tinny and it also was difficult to get it loud enough to properly hear over any background noise (including quite typing). So unless you want to sit in complete silence while using this, I would recommend against.

If you need a basic and inexpensive Skype speakerphone, then this will do. For quality Skype conversation a headset or handset is best.

The device works. You have to talk close to the box (no roaming around the room while talking) in order for the microphone to pick up your voice. Though this is common with virtually all low end microphones. I like it.
