I bought Rigid Wrap to create molds of my and my friends' faces. We had a little tea party and everyone made a mask. We are all ceramicists and plan to use the molds to create face forms for our sculpture. This is The Best way to make molds of body parts. It does not heat up as plain plaster will do and because the material can be cut into any size piece, you are able to arrange them around the nostrils and allow the subject to breathe easily through the process.
I used my mold recently for a sculpture piece and it turned out beautifully. This is a great tool in the arsenal of odd tools used by ceramicists and other sculptors. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! |
