I was impressed with these. For me they were hard to find locally at HD or Lowes. I found a lot of 6 or 7 inch clamps but never 8. I read about some 8" duct clamps maxing out at 8". Not these. You get Plenty of room to fit well over the ducting before tightening. I recComend these be on PRIME as a lot of ppl could find these useful. They tighten very well

Can't complain much, these are hose/duct clamps and are strong enough for my personal use - connecting some flexible HVAC ducts to a connector.

I know there are heavy duty zip-ties out there for cheaper, but I felt more comfortable with a perfectly round, tight-fitting worm gear type clamp I could tighten with a hand tool.

These worm clamps worked fine with no hassle. The construction appears to be solid, and this is a product I would buy again.

These clamps do what I bought them for. I clamped 12" vent hose for the hot-air exhaust from an AC. They are not the best quality clamps out there. It took a little bit of fidgetting to get the threads started. I don't think they'd stand up to too much torque if you really needed to bare down of them.

These clamps worked great and I would definitely recommend them over using duct tape or tie-wraps. The one-star downgrade was that they were a bit of a challenge to get threaded. They come un-threaded so they can be rolled up in a two-loop coil to make the packaging smaller. You need to be careful not to cross thread when assembling the loose end into the screw mechanism. Have patience and don't over-torque if it doesn't seem to be threading through. Back it out and start over and you will get it.

The were hard to get started when I was trying to use a screw driver but once I switched to a socket it was really easy to get these going. They opened up plenty big enough to fit over my 8inch duct work and help everything tight.

My only complaint was that the would start to dig into the duct at a certain point, not to big of a concern on my solid ducts but on the one section of my ducts that used aluminum flex pipe this almost caused a hole

These are garbage. Save yourself time and money and go to Home Depot or Lowe's for better quality clamps that are less than $2 each. These have a little bend in the piece under the screw which isn't flush and the screw doesn't turn easy like other clamps.

Unless you constantly need to remove your ducting, just use "duct" tape (duh) to seal-up the connections, and you're good for life, for a lot less money and screwdriver hassle.
