Bought this one and a bigger boot-like night splint for my mother. This one is less expensive and more effective than the other bigger and more expensive one. Wish I bought this one first.

I had a boot night splint that drove me crazy at night. This type of night splint is 100 times more comfortable. It has helped me 80%. I would recommend it to anyone that has planters fasciitis.

I have a foot palsy - foot drop due to nerve damage. It is uncomfortable for me to have my foot in a point all night long. I had a very clunky boot that I was wearing and it made it hard to turn over at night. This is much smaller, very adjustable and gets the job done. I am a size 9.5 in women's shoes.

The only draw back is that the platform where the ball of your foot goes is a little narrow so my toes do hang off. Since I can't control my toes this is annoying. But for someone that doesn't have a palsy, this wouldn't be an issue.

My podiatrist gave me one of the larger boot-type splints. UGH!! It cut the circulation off if my feet; I couldn't sleep soundly with it on; I couldn't wear it to the bathroom at night; and it would hurt my husband if I kicked him in my sleep. I bought the Active Ankle Dorsal Night Splint and it work 100% better than the other; it's more comfortable to sleep with. I wakeup in the morning, take the splint off and my feet feel normal again!! Buy it, buy it, buy it. Your feet will thank you.

I have a very painful heel spur with achilles tendonitis. The Dorsal Night Splint didn't do anything at all to relieve my stiffness and pain. I also found it very uncomfortable to sleep in.

The dorsal night splint does not work. It doesn't cause
enough pull on the fascia. Better to go with the night
splints that have the side straps that you can adjust to create
the amount of pull that is essential in stretching the fascia.

In recent years I have experienced issues with both of my achilles tendons and have been looking for a suitable night splint to help alleviate the soreness and tightness I awake with in the mornings.

The Active Ankle Dorsal Night Splint does the job well. When properly worn and adjusted to fit, it has definitely helped with my morning soreness! I have worn it with and without socks and it has stayed in place throughout the night. I was concerned about this because I toss and turn in my sleep, but the product has been good too me. I am considering getting another one for peace of mind since both of my achilles act up on me due to small tears from years of overuse on the basketball court....that and the simple fact of an aging body.

This product ALONG with other steps to treat the achilles tendon has been very helpful in keeping my "wheels" in working condition. It is comfortable enough to wear throughout the night and is not too bulky....which was another concern of mine.

I had plantars fasciitis once before, and it lasted many months - in spite of a (painful) cortisone injection, and lots of physical therapy. This time, my plantars fasciitis began to improve shortly after I began wearing the splint. Then, once I began to add back the formerly painful activities, I would wear the splint again at night to make sure that it did not flare up again. Sleeping with the splint is not a problem, and I am convinced it healed my heel.

I have been suffering plantar fasciitis for about a year. I finally went to a podiatrist in August and got custom orthotics which moved the pain from my arch to my heel. I have done stretching, physical therapy, only wear tennis shoes and hadn't gotten much relief. I have been using this night splint every night for about 2 weeks and could tell a difference after the first night. I have been waking with very little pain. After stretching, if I am in my tennis shoes, I am not feeling pain. I even wore a different pair of shoes yesterday. I have been able to walk my dog again! I was worried I would be living in ugly tennis shoes the rest of my life and now I think I may be able to wear sandals this summer. I hope so! I definitely reccomend trying this night splint before spending lots of money on expensive orthotics or physical therapy.
