5.0 out of 5 stars active ankles, October 1, 2007
This review is from: Active Ankle T2 Guard (Misc.)
My daughter plays volleyball for a College in Tennessee and needed active ankles to protect her while playing. We rec'd them in record time and in perfect condition. She has been wearing them in every game and will continue to do so. The coach recommends these to all of her players. Thanks for your promptness!

5.0 out of 5 stars very helpful, July 5, 2011
This review is from: Active Ankle T2 Guard (Misc.)
i am a volleyball player and i purchased them because i had a bad ankle roll. i was jumping up to catch a ball and when i landed, i just rolled the ankle. it got swollen and was painful. while i was waiting for my active ankle to arrive my school's trainer was taping my ankle an even though my ankle was taped i still managed to roll it.

the active ankle seems kind of cheap when you first get it, but once you use it you realize that it really does so much and you can not play without it. i am personally afraid to play without my active ankle because i don't want to roll my ankle.

when you wear the active ankle and you almost roll your ankle, it kind of catches you and forces you back on your feet. i love it so much. i cant play without it

4.0 out of 5 stars Good splint, March 10, 2011

This splint allows you to play and allows flexion/dorsiflexion of the ankle without allowing inversion (rolling the ankle). The hinge squeaked a little. Overall, a good splint to allow you to play with a sprained ankle.

I twisted my ankle while playing volleyball. I brought these ankle braces to prevent futher injury. It took a week for me to get use to them but i think they are a really good product. I have seen them widely used by many volleyball players.

I love this ankle brace! It looks simple and I feel like a pro when I'm wearing it! haha Its a nice fit, doesnt bother me, almost like a second skin! I also feel incredibly safe wearing it (mind you, I have sprained my ankle before I bought this and was off volleyball for a month over the summer =/ ). This ankle brace secures my ankle and doesnt cause me any discomfort. Buy this ankle brace! It's awesome! I cant play without it! =)

gave this a 5 .... 5 .... and did i say 5? bought them for our 12yr old daughter that has always had weak ankles and is very athletic when she started runnimg like a duck up and down the court we were worried that she would have to be pulled from sports and then we decided to try these instead why not we have tried a ton of other stuff even took her to the dr and nothing seemed to help .. these are great worth the little bit pricey money they want for them but there great .. she wears them all the time doing sports just jogging around the block ... there easy to put in and take out easy to tighten and not "embarrasing" for her to wear she also says there super comfy!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Get the Black!, September 25, 2011
This review is from: Active Ankle T2 Guard (Misc.)
Love my Active Ankles - have been playing with these (recreationally) for over 5 years! 4 stars out of 5 because the styrofoam padding on the inside of the brace seems extremely cheap in quality even though they have held up just fine. I purchased the white ones and over the years each component has slowly gone yellow: the hard plastic brace, the thin styrofoam padding, as well as the nylon strap. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again, but I'd definitely go for the black.

My daughter used it. It gave her some support she needs but did not fit properly. Also, she felt a little discomfort on the bottom part of the support. Overall, it works.
