NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ???,

I am new to the field of web development and I have read this book .Though title is "NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED" even then it calls for some skills in VBScript & VISUAL BASIC. Some of the examples in Chapters 5 , 6 & 17 are not working inspite of downloading from publisher's site.This book may be useful for systematic introduction to ACTIVE-X .

I haven't read this book, but if it is anything like some of the other "No Experience Necessary" titles (like Visual Basic 5.0, Steve Brown) it will not do for someone who is just learning ActiveX. This is not to be disrespectful to the author, but be careful when purchasing this title. Definitely should be PERSONALLY reviewed before purchase to see if you've got what it takes to put together any potholes you might find!!
