About the Author
Kathy Laurenhue was already an instructional technologist (trainer) when her mother's Alzheimer's disease gave her career a new twist. Inspired by her mother's example, Laurenhue has spent the last 15 years teaching people to care for vulnerable elders with compassion and good humor.

A wonderful book!,

Kathy has a delightful way of writing that engages the reader and makes everything she writes easy to understand. Her mother had Alzheimer's disease and Kathy cared for her. She did so with compassion and good humor. Her writing reflects this positive outlook on working with people who have dementia. A must read for families and health care professionals who are caring for someone with memory impairment.
