I would recommend this book for teachers who want a wealth of resources for teaching math in a meaningful way. It does not provide any problems or worksheets but instead gives you multiple ways to teach students math. I use it weekly. I use the activities and then I assign a page out of the book to check what they have learned.

I just received this book. As a math resource teacher, this is the best I've found for helping to teach math concretely.

This book is packed with ideas for using manipulatives in the classroom. I bought it to use in homeschooling and I think it will be very helpful. Please note: This book is geared for grades 4-6 (small print in the top left corner of the book image). My mistake in not seeing that before I bought it for my second grader.

I educate my children at home. I was looking for something Montessori style but fresh and more recent, and I found what I was looking for in this book. I'm not for simplified, colourful and run down alternatives for education. This book will help develop mastery skills, and patience for both teacher and student. The ideas are highly workable and there's plenty of it. There are no lesson plans but there are suggestions for every subject area.
