Excellent books for NY actors,

This review is from: Actors Take Action: A Career Guide for the Competitive Actor (Paperback)
Brian O'Neil's two books are the best books on how to persist as an actor in NYC because they describe in detail how to actively persue potential auditions before they are released via breakdowns. Every actor learns about headshots, resumes, classes, reels, and internet stuff like actorsaccess and nycastings. Every book on the business of acting has this stuff, including O'Neil's. But what they do not have, that this book does have, is information about how to find out about upcoming projects in Broadway, off-Broadway, and regional theatres. This is valuable information for young actors who think they have the will but struggle to find a way. To some it up, the early bird gets the worm, and this book and O'Neil's other book shows you how to be the early worm. Also, I truly don't understand why other books in this field don't have this information especially considering that O'Neil's books have been around for a while. I only wish I had read this book earlier in my acting career!!!
