A professional tool company, one that visits dealers and repair shops weekly, sells this same exact tool set for almost double the price...I bought the "pro" set several years ago for work and the Actron set last year for home.
There's also a similar set here, from Neiko Tools. It looks similar but they're not the same. A coworker has those and the plastic is harder,it does not "give" like the Actrons so you risk the chance of damaging interior panels. One review criticized the lack of instructions for this set,no offense but if you can't figure it out you should not be working on cars.

These tools are AWESOME! I use them all the time now, after getting them for an episode of MOTORZ TV. You can watch the episode where I use and recommend them at http://www.motorz.tv/play/alpine_audio_upgrade_installation around 5:50 into the episode. The tools are sturdy, won't harm your vehicle, and can take quite a bit of stress... plus they are cheap!

These tools work great. I used them to dismantle the dash of my wife's BMW (to install a Parrot hands-free bluetooth device) and didn't leave a scratch.

I have used these on around 10 cars now installing stereos, 2 way radios, emergency lights, etc. These make the process much easier. These tools also allow you to pull plastic panels apart in car interiors that would be hard to remove without damaging.
I will never work on a car interior again without them!

a must for doing any sort of vehicle modification on the inside of your car. they are made of some composite plastic material and i was initially worried about their durability, but they've held up nicely. these work a lot better than jamming a screwdriving in there and hoping for the best!

Good product that would only be made better if it came with a tool that seemed more like a putty knife. The widest tool is hard and awkward to hold. They are very sturdy and did not feel flimsy or brittle at all.

Got these to replace a flimsy el-cheapo metal trim/panel puller I got at the local auto parts store.
These are made of a good solid, yet flexible plastic. They do flex when leveraged, but at least they don't get all bent outta shape. The larger pieces in the kit are less flexy, and the smaller ones sometimes flex too much, but at least they let you get under whatever you're working with.

I bought this to remove the audio system from my Honda Fit in order to install a Parrot Bluetooth system. It worked, but none of the tools were perfect for this job. They were either too small or too large and not angled quite right for this job. I did successfully remove the audio system, but left some slight marks where I used the tool. Luckily Honda left a "pull" space for the panel inside the top glove box compartment, so you would need to open the glove box and know where to look to see the marks, but if the tool had been perfect, there would be no marks at all. This is why I gave it 4 stars. The tools are made well and do work, but perhaps a "purpose" built tool would have left no marks at all. Overall, I am satisfied with this toolset and would recommend it.

The package contains 5 tools of different shapes and sizes to remove automotive trim. The type of trim each tool removes is printed on the tool, so you have some idea of what to use it for. The tools are made from, what looks like, heavy duty plastic which is not likely to break.
I needed to remove dashboard trim to get to replace a light bulb on the panel. (It's ridiculous having to remove the entire dash to get to one little bulb!) I've previously used a screwdriver, which works, but you risk damaging the trim parts. To remove the trim, I picked a wide tool and carefully worked it into the edge of the trim. I moved it around until I found a place where the tool just slipped behind the trim, then pushed. The trim popped off. I worked around the trim slowly prying it off. It saves time and aggravation over using a screwdriver or a putty knive and I don't worry about scratches or gouges.

I used this tool to take apart the Radio/Dash area to install a DVD player. The tools are sturdy and the variety provided is good. I did not use all of the tools for this task. The narrow trim removal tool actually releases the clips in very tight areas. Before this toolset, I was using a screw driver wrapped with an electric tape but it was very frustrating as the tape would tare and had to be extra careful to not scratch any trim. Also, the screw driver method could easily break the clips/tabs on your trim. Well I am glad all that is in the past now. I highly recommend this tool to anyone planning on removing any trim pieces in their cars.
