This book successfully combines the classic uses of the acupunture points with modern concerns of emotional distress, modern-life trauma and pains. Dr Ross, like a true master, shares his knowledge and experience in the art of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am eager for this book to be available for purchase. It will be a well-used and welcome addition to my practice library. No matter where I open the book, I am wide-eyed with wonder at the wealth of information at my fingertips. Most acupuncture books repeat the same info over and over - this book is a true innovation.

This is a great book. It supplements other great authors, such as Joseph Helms M.D. There are so many styles of acupuncture, this is another well outlined method. There are no descriptions for physical technique of needle placement or manipulation, but multiple point selections. This is a modern book for an ancient medicine. Mr Ross very skillfully sorts out what you need and do not need form the ancient material and he eliminates sources that are contradictory.

I use this book frequently in my practice. It is well organized and easy to use. The combinations are effective for a myriad of dysfunctions and dysfunctional patterns.

This point combination book is great as a quick reference book to confirm and consolidate an acupuncture treatment. It is also clear and interesting to read in more detail as the point combinations indicate the principles of treatment; in other words because these combinations make good sense both in practise and theory and they are a good starting place from which to vary the points according to diagnosis.

Once you learn acupuncture and start working - this is the book you need for work. Hold many options for treatment.

the book is sooooo great! but the condition it was brought to me was not new as was written. i'm disappointed about that.
