An acupuncturist's bible.
Arnie Lade does an excellent job of re-introducing the poetry and artistry of chinese medicine. This is book is beautifully written, and well laid out. It is a brilliantly clear resource for students and practitioners alike, as well as being an enjoyable and informative read. A must on the bookshelves of anyone interested in chinese medicine.

Good student adjunct--only reviews 250 points
An excellent adjunct for students of acupuncture. One drawback: it doesn't review all acupuncture points, only the major ones. Writing style is clear and precise, a plus in a market full of marginal translations

the seller was great but the book is only for acupuncture doctors and students i got it for useing my electronic machine but it has no charts only medical descriptions of acupuncture point locations. useless unless you are a doctor

I really enjoyed and value this book it presents the information not only about the location of the points but the image of each i.e. how it was named and the reason it is named the way it is. Also it gives a summation of key points and how points are linked. Excellent for anyone interested in the "ART" of chinese medicine not just a linear study of this ancient way of healing

The major points are covered in good detail and I carry it with me at all times for backup study.
Would be much better if it had illustrated charts of the meridians though. You will need to print one out for reference. |
