Stumbled Across Song, January 12, 2004

I heard an awesome acoustic version of the Genesis song "Follow You, Follow Me" and found out it was this Brazilian singer Emerson Nogueira. I hopped on Amazon and bought the CD immediately. His acoustic guitar performance rocks and the Brazilian accent adds a romantic flavor to these American rock songs. He sings in english so no worries about not understanding the words. His guitar work on the Doobie Brothers' - Long Train Runnin' is exceptional. You just have to hear their version of Rush's "Tom Sawyer" to believe it. It cracked me up when I heard their accents imitating Geddy Lee's voice. All in all, it's a great CD, perfect for throwing in the CD player and going about the business of the day. I can't stop listening to it.
