The Tiger Lillies are a three-piece band, formed in 1989 and based in London. They have toured worldwide and won acclaim with their opera Shockheaded Peter.

You will never hear another band like The Tiger Lilies. Love them or hate them (as you can see by my 5-star rating, I happen to love them), they bring a truly unique sense of humor and style to their music.

Their lyrics are laden with dark despair, vulgar, anti-christian cynicism. Not for the easily offended. But if that appeals to you, you're likely to love this. Few bands can produce a musical feel that so well matches the mood expressed in the lyrics. After one or two listens, you'll find yourself infatuated with them. While the Tiger Lillies have many respectable releases, Ad Nauseam is probably their best piece of work.

i just love it. from the music to the singing to the lyrics, and the music is as hardcore as you can get with the tools they use. classics such as whore(my fav) to the intense larder. the whole disc is good, an aquired taste, but lovely. they do music their way, the bass player is very very good.
