5.0 out of 5 stars Informative, enjoyable....makes sales for the beginner accessible, October 24, 2008
This review is from: Ad Sales: Winning Secrets of the Magazine Pros (Vol. 1) (Hardcover)
This book has impressed me since the first sentence. It explains everything in laymen's terms for the beginner (which I am), gives you insight into marketing to provide you with background information from the advertisers' point of view, and breaks everything down so that it's understandable and exciting. I would recommend this book HIGHLY!

5.0 out of 5 stars Helan prepares you for WAR when playing with the Big Boys (in this Multi-Billion Dallor Advertising World) & not the lil 'ones, June 15, 2009

I love her so much I ENVY Her; She knows what she's talking about a Seasoned Vet.

Helen also proves one of my greatest points in life through out this series. "Your work is cut out for you. So don't waste time on unnecessary people, thoughts and actions:They will side swipe you in the end when you least expect it -FOCUS is the key" I even brought Volume 2(you' will need it as it goes hand in hand with volume 1) directly from her website www.helanberman.com
*It would be an honor to meet and sit under her. It would mean so much to me to Go on a copule of Sales Presentations with her as a Protege'

I'm now "Bermanized"
