The German glasses, on the other hand, are great tea glasses. The mug sold by Amazon looks identical to the German variety in the picture, but it's absolutely a different glass. Maybe Amazon has a mixed stock, because I can't otherwise understand how someone can give this glass a good rating. The German glasses have their manufacturer's logo etched in the bottom of the glass. If you get the Chinese model, I'd suggest returning it as I did and look elsewhere for the slightly more expensive ($3-$4) and far higher quality Jenaer and Trenglass mugs.
The thing I hate is the infuser has no handle, so it gets very hot. Pulling it out is a slightly painful process that I try to do as quickly as possible.
I would not order this again. Instead I would get a Teavana mug, which while still thin glass, at least has a silicone ring around the infuser so you don't burn yourself, and has holes in the bottom of the infuser so that water drains more quickly and easily from it.
I might draw it back based on design. Its basic and gets the job done, but its also a boring design.
Apparently forgot to put a note in saying who it was from. When a called a month later and asked if she had received it, she
responded: "Yes! I've been using it every day and felt bad that I didn't know who to thank."
She is a true tea drinker, (Imports, exotics, etc.) so, when she says it's great,...it truly is.
Ps: I should mention that she is also rather 'frank'. :)

This is the only tea cup that I use. I love it. It is light, but sturdy, and I prefer drinking from a glass mug.Published 5 months ago by Going AI
My most favorite tea mug ever and deceivingly large (it holds more than it looks like it would). It breaks easily, so I always buy a new one and a backup. Read morePublished 6 months ago by Robin
Love these mugs! I was going to get the more expensive insulated ones, but I love feeling the warmth through the glass, and these hold so much of my lovely morning cafe latte. Read morePublished 13 months ago by Linna Richardson
One of my favorite mugs! Seems delicate but have not had any problems with it.Published 16 months ago by JB
LOVED the mug... only one problem... I noticed a few imperfections that drove me nuts.... a small divot on the rim and the handle was not placed correctly.... Read morePublished 17 months ago by Brian Hanson
