5.0 out of 5 stars Adalberto's superb second solo album.
This 1979 release was Adalberto's second solo album and remains a very satisfying one to this day. The head-on, no-holds-barred "Ay Caray" remains a prime example of glorious '70s Salsa at its best while the bomba "P.R. Brindo Por Ti" and the son montuno "La Tierra Da" show thesinger's versatility and dexterity very splendidly. The boleros "Fuego De Amor" and the medleys...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but far from a classic...
I love Adalberto, but this is not his finest hour (although the cover is a classic). Check him out first w. Barreto and then come back to this set.

The boleros "Fuego De Amor" and the medleys "Mucho Corazon/Enferma Del Alma" and "Te Lo Dije/Mio Es Tu Amor" prove that Adalberto is also a great bolero singer and crooner. Louie Ramirez provided Adalberto with some great material here and...this CD is a must for your music library.
