M. Lutomski says:
I haven't read this book but it seems highly derivative of Adam Curtis' BBC documentaries "The Power of Nightmares" and "The Century of the Self"

Derivative? Hardly. I think Century of the Self complements aspects of Klein's initial theses on torture. The Power of Nightmares really has no strong relation, however. But it would be difficult to argue that either film was the basis for Klein's work.
