5.0 out of 5 stars Getting stronger and stronger with Adam's workouts!
I am a ball fan, so when I saw Adam's 4 DVD Set on amazon.com, I had to get it! I like it that it's neat and structured into phases from beginner to advanced. That really allows me to get gradually stronger and stronger in my core, lower, and upper body.
He makes it look so easy, and the soothing music background together keep me trying harder. I even find myself...

3.0 out of 5 stars Wheeewww!! Too tough...
Great for the gym rat. Very difficult for the average exerciser. Some of the moves demand tremendous balance and agility. Superman on the swiss ball - felt more like superclutz!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Getting stronger and stronger with Adam's workouts!, April 27, 2007

He makes it look so easy, and the soothing music background together keep me trying harder. I even find myself working up a sweat and getting an aerobic benefit while I use the ball.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to build strength in a easy, fun way.
I love it!

Best value here to get all of his DVDs in one shot. Tons of options and workouts. I've moved them all over to my zune player and set it up at the gym so I can follow along. When I only have a little time, I do the 3D Abs workout (a different product) and when I have a litle more time I do a ball routine mixed with weight training and cardio. I'm finding that I like a lot of variety in my workouts and am responding better to constantly changing things.

These videos are VERY polished - very slick and extremely well produced. His body is an inspiration and he's very calm when he instructs. There's no yelling to do more, no pushing to failure. Much calmer. But you WILL feel it! It's like yoga in that the more you know the more challenging it gets.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 stars for the DVDs, -zero- for Amazon: Buy all 4, direct, for $59.95!, May 29, 2007

Apparently some people don't go outside of Amazon to look for products, and unscrupulous purveyors are taking advantage. Adam Ford's company,"Ridgeline Fitness" sells this package for $59.95, not $199.99! But wait, on the very same Amazon page: Each individual DVD for $19.95. So, separately, $79.80, together, $199.99? Amazon should take a little repsonsibility for their associates.

5.0 out of 5 stars Feel the pain!!, March 26, 2009
This review is from: Adam Ford Complete Swiss Ball Workout 4 DVD Set (DVD)
I got some of the teaser workouts on Itunes, and found that I liked them, and wanted to give the full DVD's a try. So far, the only one I can handle is the basics, lol. This is a good series for beginners and novices, but if your never done this before, makes sure to get the basics. I really feel the workouts in the core, but sometimes I find it difficult to do some of the workouts. It took me a couple of trys to get the poster correct. And find my feet slipping around a lot. But he does a good Job not over pushing you on reps, but more on correct form, which I found helpful, and better. Also, you need some room to do it in. I try to do it in my small apartment, but I have to adjust, just because of my space. But overall its a good workout, and for the women (or men:-) ), there is some eye candy to get you going. The upper arms and lower body, are just too hard for me or beginners. But just take your time and you'll be fine. BTW I find the stretches the most beneficial part.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but very high level activities., January 15, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Adam Ford Complete Swiss Ball Workout 4 DVD Set (DVD)
I bought this DVD set as a way to find some good theraball exercises for my patients. The workouts start by sitting on the ball and doing some very general core exercises which are a great warm up. But then very quickly it seems to go into very high level core activity which would be very hard for the average patient. I did not like how each DVD started out with the same warm up on the ball, moving hips clockwise/counterclockwise, forward/back, you get the idea. If you plan on personal training or already have a strong core you will love this DVD set. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
