Short, but Sweet (4.5 stars), December 3, 2002
This review is from: Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights (Audio CD)
I don't care what anyone says, I thought "Eight Crazy Nights" was a really good movie with humor and heart. It also had some really great songs, which were all written by Adam Sandler. For those who are long time Sandler fans, you'll know that besides just doing funny skits or funny movies, he loves to write songs. This is a great soundtrack for you if you loved the movie and songs. With this CD, you know exactly what you're getting, so there's very little room for disappointment. You either loved the songs or hated them. I thought they're pretty catchy and funny. They are very much like the humorous songs we have heard on his albums.
While it's a very short soundtrack, it is still a very enjoyable one to listen to. My favorite song has to be "technical foul." That song alone is worth the price of the album. I could listen to that one over and over again. Sandler's voices for Whitey and Eleanor are hilarious. Plus, this soundtrack also includes "the Chanukah song part 3," which is great for listening to over and over again. All of the other songs are great as well. (It even inculdes a song that did not end up in the movie, "at the mall," with Sandler as Whitey.)
The CD has a lot of extras for your PC. That's right, extras. Has more extras than some of the DVDs that are out! The extras included are the animated video for the "patch song," the movie trailer, a video message from Mr. Sandler himself, the live Meatball movie that was shown before the actual movie "Eight Crazy Nights," a 30 second NBA audio spot by Adam Sandler, "Foot Soak" and "Kung-Fu" flash animations, and 2 screen savers. Wow, that's a lot of extras for a CD. So that pretty much makes up for the album being short.
"Eight Crazy Nights" is a very entertaining soundtrack, even with only having 8 songs. If you loved the songs in the movie, then get this album. You know what you're getting yourself into when you purchase this CD at least. Great songs, great singing, and great extras. Adam Sandler is an awesome song writer. I am very happy with this purchase.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights (Audio CD)
This is what Adam Sandler was made for. He made one of the funniest movies of 2002. How does this man make up all these hilarious songs and do most of the chachter's in the movie. This is a wonderful CD packed with the great songs from the movie. I think it is well worth the 10 or so bucks to get and i promise you will laugh so much when listening to this. Adam is awesome!!!!!!!

Lunch Lady Land., November 27, 2002
This review is from: Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights (Audio CD)
The soundtrack to Adam Sandler's EIGHT CRAZY NIGHTS is a high-charged, hilarious romp through the eight nights that make up Chanukah, the Festival of Lights. The album feels like a toned downed version of some of Sandler's previous comedy albums, but set to music.
My particluar favorites on the album are:
"Davey's Song"
"Long Ago"
"The Chanukah Song (Part Three)"
"Davey's Song" is actually quite depressing, but memorable and melodic nevertheless. "Long Ago" is a romantic love song that gets interrupted by a sudden tragedy. And of course, "The Chanukah Song (Part Three)" is the next part to Sandler's most famous holiday song. The album does contain some foul language, and because of that isn't quite family friendly. However, if you have a warped sense of humor or a fan of Sandlers, you will probably enjoy the soundtrack.
