WHAT A GREAT UMBRELLA BASE! WELL MADE, PRACTICAL IN DESIGN...HOLDS THE UMBRELLA QUITE SNUG, NO TIPPING OR LEANING. (WE HAVE A 9FT MARKET UMBRELLA WITH A 1-1/2" DIAM. POLE) THE PLASTIC IS VERY STRONG, IT'S NOT GOING TO STRETCH OUT OF SHAPE SO THAT IT WILL START TIPPING. THE BASE ITSELF IS VERY DECORATIVE. I LOVE THE CLAY DECO LOOK ON OUR STONE PATIO. WE FILLED IT WITH WATER TO WEIGH IT DOWN. I'D LIKE TO FILL IT WITH SAND INSTEAD, JUST NEED TO GET SOME. AND THE PRICE WAS THE BARGAIN OF THE YEAR. AND THE SHIPPING QUITE REASONABLE. I TOTALLY RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT. THANKS!

Very good product for a very good price. My umbrella hasn't moved once -- even when a storm blew a giant tree down right next to it. :)

Hollow plastic product best choice for being shipped but may be too light duty for windy days. Green color very nice. Hole in top best for smaller diameter umbrellas.
