Well you always hear people say that the game of golf is a game of feel right? Well this is a true statement and will always be the case to a player playing this wonderful game. This being said I just wanted to write a review on my own personal experience with this new line of Adams a7 putters. Let me start by saying I am an avid golfer and shoot in the low 80's and on special days of playing well for me, I will shoot in the upper 70's and my best round being a 73. Wanted to give this review on a perspective of a guy who plays a round once a week if I can and not a scratch golfer by any means. In my many years of loving to play this game I have purchased several putters and never ever wrote a review on any of them, because each one for me did not stand out as a game changer putter, even though my wife has always kidded me on how many putters I have purchased. Well I am not a bad putter, but out of all of the ones I have owned, none of them left me feeling confident while standing over the ball for even short three foot putts. I have learned finally that for me and my putting style is that a lighter putter head allows me to feel the stroke I need to make to roll the ball on my intended target line more consistently. I am not saying that heavier head type putters are not a good feel club at all and in fact most people prefer these type putters. Adams in my opinion has decided to make this 64 series putter head light for the purpose of giving a player the true feel of an individuals stroke. I personally think this is exactly what most people would like to have and could benefit from as well. I have had Scotty Cameron, Titleist, Ping, Odyssey, Rife, Taylormade and probably other well made putters I can't even remember and none of them gave me the feel of this Adams A7 64 series putter.Read more ›

nice putter but a bit on the light side. distance control might be hard. feels great, but i'd prefer a putter with more weight.
