I ordered this wall charger in hopes that it would charge my Garmin 255w without having to always use the car charger. I tried it twice and it never charged my GPS. The battery meter continued to say it had low battery and one bar on its meter after hours of ineffective charging. Not compatible with the Garmin 255w.

I misplaced my original and did not want to waste my time, gas, and money shopping around stores locally. I have always been happy with Amazon's great service and still am. Thank you. Mary Perkins

My parents recently purchased a Garmin Nuvi GPS and it didn't come with the Adapter. Ordered the Adapter and in two days my parents received it. Very fast service.

I misplaced my power adapter when I moved for my Garmin GPS. I was happy to find at Amazon that I could order a replacement at a very good price. The power adapter works great and I am enjoying using my GPS again.

The charger fit my Nuvi 255w and fully charged it after a few hours. I would have given it 5 stars, but I didn't receive the same charger pictured/described (unbranded not Charger City)and it's not 6 feet long, but it works (so far) and was inexpensive enough.

This ac wall adapter works exactly as it should. It fully charges my Garmin GPS in about three hours. I highly recommend this charger for keeping your GPS charged and ready to go at all times.

The power cord worked well except I couldn't fit it in the recessed plug type in the floor of my living room.
