Product Description

Adapts your 12 Ga shotgun to shoot .410 Ga shells. With these shotgun adapters, you can maximize the use of your shotgun by being able to shoot other gauges and even rifle and pistol calibers in your shotgun. This shotgun adapter is simple and easy to use. The bullet inserts into the adapter, and the adapter inserts into the chamber of your single shot or double barrel. shotgun. Will work in bolt action too if placed in chamber by hand. (They don't work well with auto-loading or pump shotguns) The discharged shell will slide out of the adapter easily. Shoot smaller gauge shells, rifle, pistol bullets in your shotgun. The machined steel adapter allows smaller (cheaper) ammo, even .38 or .22 caliber to be shot. The adapters that shoot rifle calibers are not intended to take the place of an actual rifle. But they are handy to have with you when you are carrying your shotgun to increase your options. These adapters are about 2 3/4" long. They can shoot 3" shells too. This is a great product! It allows .410's to be ran through a 12gauge, it reduces the recoil and sound so its great for practicing with a bigger gun. It is completely metal so theres no risk of breaking it. I would defiantly recommend this if you need that extra practice with your big gun without spending too much on ammo. Now I can tell my friends I killed a squirrel with the same gun that downed a dear.

at first i thought accuracy was going to be terrible. it held a good pattern out around 30 yards with the 410. good enough for squirrel and birds.

Works great fits fine. Shoots the 410 shells fine out of my pump action. Its heavy enough that when I pump it out of the chamber it falls into the gun instead of falling out. This is a good thing. This isn't rifled so Dont expect any accuracy at all out of .45.

I got these for use in a pair of old Stephens 12 gauge single shot
guns. Fit and function for firing are good. Also will chamber the
45 "longcolt" cowboy loads for use instead if a slug.

The drawback to use is the ejection of the whole sleeve when you break open to reload.
This is an inconvenience and requires a tapout rod to remove the spent cartridges.

.45 long colt out of a shotgun, anyone?

.410 recoil is just about nothing compared to a 12-gauge, though it's a little more pricey for the cheap shells.
