Color Name: BLACK 30 PIN OTG
I used this with my Samsung Tab 2 7.0" and I was able to connect a couple different USB thumb drives and a MicroSD adapter.

I recently purchased a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and wanted a keyboard for it. I didn't really want to shell out $80 for a wireless keyboard, so I found this adapter on Amazon.com. The rep at my local Best Buy told me it wouldn't work. He was wrong - it works just fine. I plugged it in to my tab, plugged the other end into a standard keyboard and it worked instantly. The adapter does seem a bit cheap, but as long as it works, I don't really care. I just bought a back up to have on hand.

When I first received this product I thought it was the wrong cable for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" because I couldn't get it to fit properly. A few days went by and I tried it again just to make sure and it fit! turns out I wasn't pushing the cable in far enough. (its a very tight fit) I tried it with my canon digital camera and was able to transfer some photos on to my samsung galaxy tab with no problems.

I plugged it into my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 7" and it recognizes a USB thumb drive and a USB keyboard (what I really ordered it for).

My only complaint is there are no markings to tell which side is up on the adapter, but it's not hard to figure out by looking at the adapter and the port. For the $4 I paid for this I think it's an excellent value.

I bought a small keyboard for my Galaxy Tab 2 7" but didn't read the description well and discovered it was not blue tooth but USB- so I ordered this for way cheaper than buying a blue tooth keypad and it works great.

I can read USB drives now simple as pie. Just for fun I put the dongle for my Logitech K400r keyboard/touchpad and it works great. Good item. Everyone in my class wants one now that they have seen it.

Works great on a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 with android 4.1.1 JellyBean.

--> I had no problems recognizing a 8gb and 16gb Flash Drives.
--> I also connected a USB Mouse and it recognized immediately.
--> Additionally a USB keyboard also worked.

You cannot connect a USB hub to use multiple devices. The tablet says "Hi-Powered devices are not supported" You have to remove the dongle completely to clear this error.

It works perfectly well and allows me to transfer photos from my camera to the Samsung Galaxy Tablet. It is cheap and very reliable. I like it very much. Benny.

Bought 2. One for my tab 2 7 and one for my wife's tab 2 10. Wireless mouse and flash drives work for both. The connector has a much tighter fit than the charger/data cable from Samsung. Have to be careful removing the adapter from the unit because of the fit. I would purchase these again.

This exceeded my expectations given the very low price and "estimated shipping time" of 4-6 weeks
Shipping from HK China actually only took 12 days.
The tablet OTG plug looks and fits identical to the one on the Samsung Note OEM charger cable. The female USB plug is also a quality item.
The Note 10.1 recognized the dongle as soon as it was attached "Hot Swap" did work for most items with the dongle left attached. There was even a "Safely Remove" function to detach any flash drives.
The dongle is only for attaching "low-power" USB devices like flash drives, keyboards & mice.
This is due to limitations on how much power the Samsung tablet can supply, not any limitation of the dongle.
Every flash drive I tried worked, even a antique 64MB one.
Tried out several wired USB keyboards and mice - no problems.
Attaching a "High Power" devices like Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse or headset caused no damage, just a message that the device couldn't be used.
For curiosity, tried several 2.5" and 3.5" bare drives in my HDD dock with it's own AC power supply. Stock JellyBean read any drives formatted with FAT32 just fine. Most of my loose drives are NTFS formatted, so would not read without adding a NTFS volume mounter from the app store. Didn't bother since my Note can access all the shared drives on any of the other Windows computers on my network.
