this product worked fine for the first few weeks but then the cord literally melted and came apart from the adapter box burning my hands in the process! i would recommend just getting a certified replacement from HP to save yourself the trouble

I can't even explain to you how pissed off I am with this seller. The item arrived very quick but within five minutes of plugging the adapter to my laptop, the damn thing died. When I contacted them requesting a new item, they told me they would ship it out to me and never did. Three weeks later, I received an email advising me that the item was out of stock.

I was please to have received the item in a timely manner for a very reasonable price. But the power supply partially works. I can not use it, unless my laptop is on a flat surface. And I find often that it does not charge at all.

This product was exactly what I needed. It fit perfectly and it arrived quickly and when they said it would. It also included the cord to plug it into the wall which I had not expected, but was good to see.

The charger works fine, I never had problems. The only issue is that the chord is pretty short, shorter than the one that comes with the computer, and I did not expect that. Other than that it's fine.

I was looking for an inexpensive replacement for the failed power supply module for an HP tx2000 laptop computer, and found it in this product.
The cost of this product, including shipping, was less than 1/7 the cost of the replacement from the HP website.
It has been working exceptionally well since it arrived and we have no complaints with it at all.

When i started using this product it worked fine for 2 days and from the 3rd day it stopped working.

Do not buy this item. Cord is very short, but that would be OK if it worked. It died only after 2 months of use. Now I have to get another one.

The cord initially worked fine when I got it to replace my original HP cord, but after about 3 months it stopped making connection with the laptop when plugged in. I can still get some charge if I press firmly and hold the end of the cord into the computer, but I'll be buying a new HP-issued cord shortly. In my opinion, dishing out the money for a product you know will work is the better idea, but this one might be worth a try for such a low cost - just don't count on it working long-term.
