The first adapter I bought popped and died. They were very prompt and friendly about giving me a replacement. The second worked for a while, but now has to be held in specific orientation to work. I have a standard adapter from Lenovo that I use interchangeably so I don't think it is the way I use it. If you plan on moving the adapter around any, I would suggest you buy the better quality adapter from Lenovo.

I purchased this product the end of January and it didn't even last 4 months. The adapter stopped working and I contacted the seller and Jen said "sorry it's past warranty", well I will never purchase from them again. But I guess from the price you get what you pay for. Don't buy, it's not going to last,and customer service don't care.

I knew I wasn't going to get a power supply identical to the one it came with. The cords are shorter and the A/C cord is a chunkier 3 prong (grounded) one as opposed to the 2 prong plug the original is. The product pictured is 2 prong and that isn't what you'll get. I just received it so I can't yet vouch for long term reliability. It's cheap and it works for the time being.

The adapter falfunctioned after 1 day. there is an internal short in the adapter. Bought another unit from another source not Amason.

I have had several T60's, and it appears that no matter what manufacturer I get, the best adapter will only last about 7 months. Now, I go into each purchase with this understanding, as I use my laptop (and thus the power adapter) quite often, historically, the hardware WILL fail on me. That said, I purchased two of these items, as stated above, I was afraid that I would be left in a lurch. To my complete amazement, after 3 days, one item is already starting to fail. I started to use my second one, and low and behold, it is starting to fail as well. That is a duration of 3 days of VERY ORDINARY USAGE. Basically, it was used at my desk where the wires were not crimped and there were alot air flow, thus it didn't get extraordinarily hot.

This is simply sad and disappointing. Do Not Buy this product, as it's not a matter of "IF" it will fail, rather, "WHEN" will it fail....

OK, so i was willing to accept all the bads from previous reviews but apparently they missed out on one - my charger heat up in 5 minutes to a dangerous high temperature - my guess is it will burn if left for more than an hour. never used it again. :(

Excellent replacement charging adapter for the ThinkPad T60P I use. Actually I wanted a second adapter for the office to I never have to worry about forgetting to bring the original along with me. I leave the spare at the office, connected at my desk. This one fits tightly into the charging port on the ThinkPad, something other replacement adapters failed to do. Additionally, this adapter was even less expensive than other used ones I found online. Fast shipping, no hassles. And I did it all through Amazon.com!

Bought this charger July 25th and it just died on me. In addition, ever since I bought it, it made a obnoxious ringing noise that came straight out of the battery. Definitely annoying when you in class and people are staring.. I am going to try and get a replacement but i doubt they will since it was so cheap.

This power cord works great with my ThinkPad. Couldn't believe that my local stores wanted $50+. It does make a continuous humming type noise when I'm using it but I'll put up with it because it was so cheap.

It was just what I needed. It was purchased at a reasonable price and it came on time. I don't have any complaints!
