There are three types of power supplies for the xbox 360. A 150W, a 175W, and a 203W. Given the description as being a power brick with cord, it was implying it would work with all systems. Which it doesn't. They need to describe what they are selling. This is a 175W, at least the one I got. Thanks for leaving out details.

I had some problems with other power supplies not being compatible. This one worked perfect. It did not cost near as much as some of the $80+ powerr supplies I have seen. The bonus is it ships to Iraq for those deployed soldiers like myself who trusted the wrong person to hook up their console and ended up with a fried cable.

I tried what I thought was a good third party AC adapter to replace the one I left at a friend's house, and it was awful. It ran SUPER hot to the point where it left scorch marks on my Ethan Allen entertainment center! After a week, it smelled like burnt plastic and then it failed. It took two days for the smell to go away even after I threw it out.

I have had zero problems with this true Microsoft AC adapter, and I'd recommend it to anyone. To put this in perspective, I run Linux on my one PC and even though I run XP on the other, I run Firefox and use StarOffice. I avoid Microsoft products like the plague, but I would NEVER EVER use any AC adapter other than Microsoft's. I've seen most of them, and they are all terrible.

I read lots of reviews prior to ordering the NEW AC Adapter Power Supply Power Brick for Microsoft Xbox 360 (203 Watt), so I was a bit wary... But for absolutely no reason. Prior to ordering from the vendor FRIDAYPLAY, I checked my OEM bad power supply, and it was a 203 Watt... what I received was a 203 Watt and all the cord connections fit perfectly. My X-Box 360 is now up and running and I'm able to play Halo Reach.

I bought this for my xbox 360 only to find out once it got here it was the wrong power adapter. The power cord that was sent with the power brick doesn't even look like they belong together either. This does me no good and basically wasted my time and money. I haven't contacted the seller as of yet and hope once I do they will send me the correct adapter. I will say they sent it out promptly, but I had to pay $20 for the shipping. Just make sure before you buy this product it is the right one needed for your 360.

It is simply easier and absolutely safer just to buy the AC adapter directly from the original manufacture themselves. That way your luck won't sunk as bad as mine was. The product I received was defective... a complete waste of time. Either way I still have to contact Microsoft for a good replacement. You paid for a $200-$500 console, why buy an untrustworthy power supply? It's like buying a $5,000 vase and placing it on top of a table made of toothpicks bounded duct tape.

Read reviews that this product was no good and that people who purschased it, got one that didnt work. Well I should have listened! Mine didnt work and I was pretty ticked off because Im over in Iraq and it would be nice to have something to do in what little down time I have here!!! Thanks for the great CRAP!!
