The AD-24 'should' work, but it is not exactly the same output voltage as the AD-30. When the specs for the item specify an exact model, I expect THAT model, not some other one that is close.According to the manufacturer's specs the AD-30 was replaced by the AD-24, but some users have reported that they do not work with the older labelmakers, including my 520 model. In my case it seems to work so I will count myself satisfied and keep it. So this is a positive review with a caveat that the buyer be aware that they may not receive the model number that they ordered, but a replacement model that should be equivalent but may not be in all cases.
