This powered my Lattitude D630, but the laptop would not charge the battery. It could tell it was a third party adapter and preventing charging for "safety" purposes, which is ridiculous because this adapter is exactly to spec (65 watts, fits perfectly, etc). I even ordered a new replacement battery but it would still not charge with this adapter due to Dell crippling their own hardware. Upon getting an official Dell power adapter (for many times the price of this one!) the laptop would charge batteries just fine.

Well, It's a charger for a Dell Latitude laptop. It charges the battery, thereby doing it's job. Doesn't do anything other than that, but it does do it's job well. Yay...
