This is just a "heads up" for those who want original equipment. The unit is rated at 65 watts and may be original equipment for some of the Dell units listed. My Dell Vostro 1500 comes with a 90 watt unit and some performance (such as recharging time) suffers. It may be just fine for you; just know whether it is before you buy.

I had to find a replacement for my daughter's laptop power supply and had a little trouble at first finding the correct item. This power supply/adapter is an exact match and has worked beautifully for her. The price was right and it shipped immediately. Great supplier.

This adaptor does not work properly. It gets very hot and burns within a couple of hours of usage. Totally Junk

I bought this adapter for someone and it was received in a timely manner. I was told that it works perfectly. Maybe next time, she'll come back and purchase more things when she feels comfortable in doing so.

It is a very good product. Looks almost exactly like what i replaced. The only problem with it is that it GETS VERY HOT! I have a 9 month old and its too hot to even use when he's walking around because he could burn himself

This AC adapter has a grounded plug, unlike the original adapter I received with my Dell Vostro computer. It powered the computer just fine and charged the battery, but the computer gave repeated messages that it cannot recognize the adapter and the battery will not charge. After a few months, the computer would not even boot up with this AC adapter attached.

if you want to be angry for a while buy this crapy charger.

It is burned down, worthless... it just worked for a month!!

Died out in a month. You get what you pay for I guess. Oops, need twenty words to describe a thing that didn't last the life of a mayfly. How's this?

This should not be advertised as compatible with the Dell Vostro 1500. It only puts out 65W, and the Vostro requires 90W. The unit gets VERY hot when you try to charge it!
