There are concept books galore - about ABCs, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, vehicles, occupations... you get the idea. But it's rare to encounter a book about verbs, which is a pity considering how fundamental they are. Schneider's "Add It, Dip It..." fills the gap nicely with this simple, effective book. Twenty-six alphabetized verbs are presented in a graphic style reminiscent of the 70s. Toddlers to emergent readers will enjoy exploring, reading, and sharing this book.

Cute Book,

This book is really cute. I read it through once and didn't realize how the book was written. This book had a verb for each letter of the alphabet. It was a great benifit to me when I taught a lesson on verbs.
