great product,
By Mike (CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Addico Milano Hot & Cold Water Cooler, Black (Tools & Hardware)
This is a great water cooler. The water is chilled ice cold and the hot water is very hot. You can turn off the hot water if you don't want to be paying for the electricity bill all the time (there is a switch in the back). I bought this for my parents and I'm the only one who uses the hot water tap, so its great that it can be shut off while I'm away. Once you turn the hot water switch on you'll have hot water in about 10 or 15 minutes. My parents had been renting a cooler from a bottled water delivery company and we had had the same cooler for about 10 or 15 years. Since we were paying rent for it every month, I told my parents to request a new one. They sent us a replacement cooler, but it was in worse condition than the one we wanted to replace so I decided to get this for them. With the 15 years of rent my parents paid for the rental (only room temp water), I could have purchased 3 or 4 of these. One thing that should be noted is that the no splash system cap that comes with this does not fit all water bottles like is stated. It does not fit bottles that are from bottled water delivery companys. If you don't want to be carrying a five gallon container back and forth to the store this might be a problem because the reservoir does not hold very much water and it is difficult to avoid spills without the no splash nozzle. The bottle cover makes the cooler look nice because you don't see the bottle. The only problem with this is that it isn't obvious when the cooler is low on water. This is an energy star appliance so it uses less electricity than other comparable water coolers. After drinking four glasses (10 oz. cup) I noticed slighty warmer water coming out of the tap. After the seventh glass the water was near room temp. Overall I really like this product. It is a definite upgrade from an only room temp cooler (no need to buy so much ice anymore). I would recommend it to anyone.

Ugh,
By John T Bandur (Lynnwood, WA United States) - See all my reviews

Ugh. What can I say. The first time I bought this product I had to return it because no water came out of the hot water faucet at all. The second one I got worked fine for 4 months or so then developed a leak at the base of the cooler. I will never buy a product from Addico again.

Disappointed,
By A Customer
This review is from: Addico Milano Hot & Cold Water Cooler, Black (Tools & Hardware)
I read the reviews (2)and decided to throw out the bad and give it a try. It arrived quickley but after setting it up, drilling a hole in my cabinet for power, I found out that the cold water did not work. I called customer service, Canada, waited on the phone for 20 mins. and was told that I had to deal with Amazon since I bought it there. I was requesting to repair the thermostat myself if they sent me the part. No luck. I sent it back. Amazon made sending and receiving easy. That was the only good thing with this whole excercise.
