A2J was one of the first CD's I bought after I became a Christian and of all the music I've listened to, both Christian and Non-, this is the one album that I can say helped change my life. There is not a song on the album that's not annointed and has a specific purpose and goal. "Hunger for Holiness will draw you into Gods presence. "Satan, bite the dust" will wake the warrior in you. "The third Heaven" just generally wakes you. And I could go on. This album is truly Supernatural even more so than DCTalks latest and thats my favourite group! (I got into DCTalk, after listening to A2J) If you haven't bought the video yet - do it.

I don't understand how anyone can listen to these songs and not see how wonderful they are. I know that I can feel the Holy Spirit move when I hear Holy Ghost Hop and especially with Hunger for Holiness. The music is wonderful, great lyrics and is truly uplifting God's name. How anyone can say that any of the music on here is "blasphemy" is beyond me. Listen to the lyrics carefully and you will hear that God and Jesus are the center of it all!!

We have used this on numerous occasions at our church for various functions as a short drama. Our youth department acts out the parts as the CD of Carman's voice and music plays. What a mighty and powerful ending! It never gets old!

What an album. I suppose I should mention how I came to buy it...

Having to haul pinball machines between various bars on a dreary Seattle afternoon, I rented a pickup truck. But the radio wasn't running well, and I could barely hear my favorite rock and roll station through the static and squelch. As I passed the Snohomish county line, the radio gave up the ghost completely. No tunes at all. I hit the "search" button, and for five minutes the radio cycled through the FM band. But the only thing it could pick up was a Christian radio station. Faced with the choice, I left the radio on, even though the song being played was about one step below country.

The next song that came on was "Satan Bite the Dust", and it rocked. The song uses the theme from gunsmoke to back a confrontation with the devil in a saloon. It is funny, and I searched until I figured out what album the song was on.

The other cuts are similarly eclectic and funny, and I listen to the album regularly. Hymns, gospel and rap influences abound. As with just about any such diverse collection, you are not going to find a really high level of performance here. That's not what the album is about.

The album's great strength is its theme of christian power. I always feel energetic enough to take on the world after listening to this album, and I'm not even a church goer.

If you are scared of christians, this album is going to feed your worst fears. On the other hand, really straight laced types may find it offensive, possibly the humor.

I say to you all, "lighten up!" and take home some Carman.

Carman is one of the most versatile performers in the music world. God has given him a great talent and he uses it to God's glory. He is right at home in any style of music - rockabilly, rock, rap - you name it, Carman does it and does it well. This versatility gives him appeal with every age group. My favorite songs on this CD are 1955, Satan, Bite the Dust, Jesus Is the Way, and Our Turn Now. I recommend this highly to Christians of all ages. And to those who have not yet accepted Christ, listen to this CD and you will see the Light!

My kids love this CD!! I listened to the cassette tape when I was younger and had every word memorized. This is a fun CD with music that is totally different from what's out there today. Great way to take a stroll down memory lane and if you have small kids they will adore this CD!!!! (Mine LOVE "Satan Bite The Dust")

This cd will definately get you Addicted to Jesus,and if it doesn't,then I suggest you listen to the words with your heart and not your ears.Carman is a man of many talents and somehow always seems to deliver the unexpected.I am particularly happy to note that he dedicated song number 2-"The Holy Ghost Hop" to Pastor Ray McCauley,founder of Rhema Bible Church here in South Africa and by far among the best role models I have ever known,for anybody.My favourite song on the cd is "Jesus is the way"-song no.8,simply because it says what Carman and so many dedicated people of God are trying to get through to nations around the world,and that is that we cannot enter Heaven unless we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.Buy the cd,it is truly amazing and you won't regret it.BECOME A2J!!!!!

This CD ranks up there with The Standard as Carmen's best. If you have viewed Carmen's CDs like RIOT and Mission 3:16 as a little too much for your taste, you'll still like this one. It's not as rough, and the Petra boys give Carmen a hand on the first one.

Never thought I'd find this CD-Got it 4 my daughter-She was so happy.Thank -U .Great CD We got together and listened to the Songs in her apartment and the car.She called her mom in New Brunswick just to tell her she had the CD.

This is just what I wanted, in the condition stated, and delivered in a timely manner. I would recommend this vendor.
