True, William J. Clinton Is A Sex Addict., October 14, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Addiction in the Whitehouse: Disgrace of the Us Presidency (Paperback)
I am a liberal democat and would normally disregard anything an admitted right winger such as Canyon Adams had to say, but honestly I must confess and admit that in this case the man is right. Sad as it seems, our president is indeed a sex addict, a fact which cannot be denied. And Canyon Adams in this book makes us see it in live living color until there is nowhere left to run, hide, or deny. I do disagree however with Adams assessment of our first lady because he takes the position that Mrs. Clinton has always been aware of her husbands' adulteries, but I believe she was lied to and fooled like the rest of us. My wife introduced me to this book and I am glad she did because it helped me see things I was unsure of involving this president. I have two things to conclude with. One, this book is one of the easiest books I have ever read because Mr. Adams guides the reader through in a direct way, and two, because of what I have learned in the book I am going to change my position this election and consider some republican candidates as well.

Where's the beef!?, October 8, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Addiction in the Whitehouse: Disgrace of the Us Presidency (Paperback)
This book is pretty weak. I agree that our president is an immoral man, but this book doesn't contain any meat! ADDICTION IN THE WHITE HOUSE consistently states well-known facts, or it draws conclusions which are not really made clear and don't always seem to make sense. I'd never heard of Canyon Adams before, and his book was a poor choice of purchase on my part.

poorly written and uninformative, September 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Addiction in the Whitehouse: Disgrace of the Us Presidency (Paperback)
Canyon Adams is not an author. He shouldn't write books and then contrive a bunch of good reviews to try and make it sell. This book misses every mark and standard for a serious expose of our president. I challenge anyone who buys this book to write their review here, and then Mr. Adams might be hard pressed to keep up writing phony reviews to keep his average star rating above one star. Actually I hope not that many people were fooled into buying this book.

Disappointing., December 3, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Addiction in the Whitehouse: Disgrace of the Us Presidency (Paperback)
The title held such potential to create a depth of understanding to a subject that wreaks havoc in so many lives, but instead is a superficial commentary and focus on facts. The book seems more like a "counter spin," albeit using "arranged" facts, to Clinton's spin masters. Nothing is wrong with facts -- this book just does NOT explore the facts, as they pertain to addiction, with much depth or insight. The complete dynamics of addiction, and the active addictive behavior of a world leader, actually should be of interest to every American concerned about the saftey of the nation -- and this book misses the boat.

Bravo, Canyon Adams., October 6, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Addiction in the Whitehouse: Disgrace of the Us Presidency (Paperback)
Absolutely Excellent! Your book was the most logical and no-nonsense piece of writing I have read on the President Clinton scandal yet. To borrow your quote, the president's problem cannot be spun into cotton candy. You do not give us cotton candy, you give us a naked president, a naked first lady, and a white house bunch of yahoos that should be ashamed of themselves one and all. Shame on them. I will be watching these upcoming impeachment hearings like a fan at a football game, sitting at my tv with my popcorn and pizza, your book waving back and forth like a pon pom. Bravo, Mr. Adams. You hit the nerve of the issue for us all.

The News, March 9, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Addiction in the Whitehouse: Disgrace of the Us Presidency (Paperback)
I read Addiction in the White House and found it interesting that Canyon Adams talked about Jane Doe Number 5--Juanita, the Clinton Rape Victim-- many many months before she became a news item. Mr. Adams certainly did his research with this project and delivered it with such honest and straight forward ummpf! A good book which I recommend for all voters. And I am interested to read his next two, which I see are coming out in June of 1999.

Better Than Rush Limbaugh, September 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Addiction in the Whitehouse: Disgrace of the Us Presidency (Paperback)
This book is hillarious and right to the political point regarding slick Willie and his fake wife. Sex addiction? Yes, and much more. Sickness, deceit, and everything else. This book was more entertaining than a Rush Limbaugh program. I laughed until I cried. Five stars for Canyon Adams.

After hearing the underground "must buy" news on this book, I finally purchased it and read it. Excellent! Honest and straight to the jugglar. The news of this Clinton fiasco continues to be important and relevant. I highly recommend this book to every American.

I Was Impressed!, January 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Addiction in the Whitehouse: Disgrace of the Us Presidency (Paperback)
I was very impressed by the honesty of this book. Canyon takes no prisoners. And how very true his words ring as we continue to watch our president disgrace himself, his family and his country.
