More About the Author

Sandra grew up in the mid-west in a small farming community where she belonged to 4-H. When she was thirteen, her family moved to, Lawrence, Kansas, the town where the University of Kansas thrived. After high school, she traveled to California to live with a friend and to find a job. She became very homesick and returned home.

She worked for a major airline for thirty-six years and did extensive travel during that period. It was a lovely time in her life working for a wonderful company. In 1999 she retired to write full time and worked seriously toward publication.

In 2008, she had her first book published, and then her second one in 2009. Shortly after her publisher closed their doors, and she immediately moved to a new publisher. She is still with the publisher and has had three books and a short story published with them. She's now working on another one hoping to finish it before the end of summer.

Alcohol, gambling, smoking and sex--Jolene Dubois is addicted to `em all. As one of the owners of Odyssey Casino, the dark-haired beauty spends many hours in the gaming room of greed, definitely not the place for rehabilitation. When her mother's new hubby hires sexy Jake Farrell as the casino's head of security, Jolene decides the time has come to join AA. Just when it seems she is beginning to gain some control over her addictions, Jolene receives disturbing, late-night phone calls. Why is the voice on the other end threatening her life? Who is behind the menacing whispers? Is it someone she knows?

This taut, well-crafted cat-and-mouser will have you on the edge of your seat. A variety of smokin' hot men involved in our heroine's life will certainly pique the reader's interest--especially since anyone of them could be the serial killer. Saucy dialogue, an intricate web of plot twists, plus a scorching love affair add up to a suspenseful nail-biter. Watch out, mystery lovers, you can easily become addicted to the books of author, Sandra K. Marshall.

Addiction will keep you turning the page. Sandra Marshall takes you on an emotional, dark, and erotic journey into alcoholism and gambling. This is a quick read that is worth the time and I 'm looking forward to enjoying more by Ms. Marshall.

Ms Marshall's book Addiction is very poignant to the point of frightening. It shows the reality of the world of booze, gambling and all the curses. It also shows the redemption from it in a real world, the struggles and those loyal enough to help fight for you. A good read. Don't miss it
