5.0 out of 5 stars Fun in classic arcade style December 4, 2012

Simple fun ala Asteroids & Missile Command. Works great on Kindle Fire with small exception that screen doesn't scale quite right and score at top & pause at bottom are only partly on the screen. I discovered a work-around, though: pause the game as soon as you start and bring up the Kindle settings menu bar; when you go back to the game, the screnn will be scaled properly.
But I've beaten level 20 with a respectable score... need Jupiter, please!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Combination of Games September 7, 2012

This is a very interesting game that combines mechanics from other classics, such as Missile Command and Asteroids. It's very challenging and offers a degree of variety and versatility to its many levels, as you anticipate and determine the best possible way to defend the planet against the seemingly infinitely spawning obstacles and enemies.

I look forward to seeing a number of different levels as I can't wait to see what the other planets have to offer. Perhaps there will be new power up... Perhaps there will be new enemies and obstacles... As of now, the game is fun and compelling but its far from complete.

I do look forward to seeing some kind of survival mode in which a planet is chosen, perhaps, and the player faces an onslaught of enemies and obstacles specific to that planet or region in space. There could also be an ultimate kind of survival mode in which all currently encountered enemies and obstacles are present within that mode.

Let's not forget the possibility and the potential for multiplayer action. What if the players were able to connect with one another on a particular screen and defend the planet while cooperating with one another. Such cooperation could be present within the main "story line" or within survival.

Finally, while most of the power ups are obtained as the game progresses, what if specific "final upgrades" to the weapons were obtainable via some in-game mall?

Overall, there's a lot more that can be done to this "already amazing and intriguing game" to make it that much better and more appealing to those searching for a game worthy of their time and investment.

Do consider the points; I know the investment is worth it.
